In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Extra Material
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
